What type of seating can I book?

1-person bean bags fit one person | 2-person bean bags fit two people. 2 people can attend with 1 x 2-person bean bag ticket. | Picnic blankets allow up to 4-6 people. 4 - 6 people can attend with 1 x picnic blanket ticket. | General admission, BYO picnic blanket.

Can I bring food?

Food can be brought into the event, however our nearby eateries would love your support! Darling Quarter's eateries are located next to the cinema and offer a range of movie meal options for all budgets.

Can I bring drinks?

Accepted Answer

Non-alcoholic drinks can be brought in. Alcoholic drinks are not permitted to be brought into the event area. Darling Pavilion will be hosting a pop-up bar onsite where you can purchase alcoholic beverages. All alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the event space.

Can I still attend if a screening is booked out?

Walk-ins are accepted each evening but to guarantee your spot please arrive as close as possible to the gate opening time.

Why do we have headphones this year?

HBO Max and Darling Quarter are excited to deliver cinema-quality sound through 350 headsets for this year’s event. With so much happening at Darling Harbour throughout January, the headsets will help ensure attendees get the best possible audio experience.

What happens to the movie screening in the case of wet weather?

Should the event be impacted by wet weather, the movie screening will be postponed. All ticketholders will be contacted with more information.
