About this event

Welcome to Mum Muscle Mastery: Posture & Pelvic Floor after Kids!

Are you a mum eager to reclaim control over your physical strength, vitality, and daily routines after having kids?

Join us for an empowering workshop tailored specifically for mums navigating a busy household schedule and wanting to make positive changes to their bodies after having kids.

In this session, we will delve into the world of postural and pelvic floor muscles, exploring their importance in restoring full body strength, function, and overall well-being while navigating long and demanding days. Discover evidence-based knowledge and simple strategies to take home or build into your planned exercise, boosting your awareness and strength to support bigger health and fitness goals.

This workshop bridges the gap between having kids and building all-round body strength and resilience, with guided activities and tools to take home to build better habits.

Led by an expert fitness trainer specialising in postnatal exercise for women as their bodies change, this interactive workshop includes takeaways for mothers from early postpartum and through to menopause. Learn proven techniques that improve your physical strength and mental resilience, and develop a simple routine that will support you through your changing seasons.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing that is easy to move in, a yoga mat or large towel, and a water bottle.

Whether you're chasing after little ones, juggling sporting responsibilities, or seeking to regain strength and vitality as the kids enter their teen years , this workshop equips you with tools and practises to seamlessly incorporate exercise into your busy life as mum.

Join us on this journey toward improved physical health and enhanced confidence in your body's capabilities.

Additional Information:

Our priority is to provide a supportive environment where women can learn, practise, and take away simple actionables to feel empowered to enhance their physical health and well-being. Our sessions are inclusive and adaptable, ensuring that all attendees can participate at their own pace and comfort level.

If you have a baby on tow, please bring anything you need for your baby to be cared for and comfortable (this may include your pram, a blanket, a toy, feeding needs, etc). This event is not suitable for children who are on the move.

During the workshop, participants will have some opportunities to try guided activities that are considered low-intensity movement or exercise. These activities are gentle yet effective, allowing attendees to comfortably explore their abilities at their own pace.

If you experience pain or pelvic floor symptoms, we recommend you seek medical evaluation or specific advice. Our facilitator Amanda can help refer you to appropriate support. Please fill out our Contact Form and we will call you to guide you with next steps.
