Founded by the Shia Muslim community, AMAFHH aims to build a spiritual and vibrant community by promoting wellbeing and empowerment and addressing social disadvantage, particularly among women and youth, by developing the potential of its members, engaging with the wider society and serving humanity.The AMAFHH VisionWe see AMAFHH becoming central to the building of an inclusive and harmonious multicultural Victoria in which the Shi’a Muslim community and the broader Victorian community work together to address problems such as family violence, marginalisation and social disadvantage and to promote inclusion, mutual appreciation and collaboration for the greater good.About AMAFHHAMAFHH Federation is a not for profit Charity organization that believes firmly in the service of humanity and that charity begins from home.We believe in working together through education, professional development, and respect for cultural diversity to empower Australian Shia Muslims and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities to face the challenges and realise the rewards of growing up in a multicultural society. AMAFHH provides direct support to people who are culturally, linguistically or religiously diverse, with a focus on those of the Australian Shia Muslim faith who are disadvantaged as a result of their socioeconomic circumstances.Supporting an individual is a worthy cause and that is why we are here to support not just families but the entire community so we can improve the quality of our environment.

AMAFHH Federation Inc

We are organising Multicultural Fair in Diversity Week, 2019 (Sunday 17th March). It’s a FREE public event from 12pm to 5pm. At Preston Shire Hall & Preston City Hall, 286 Gower Street, Preston, Vic, 3072. The fair will have over 35 stalls/booths to represent different culture, faith, food and service providers with the theme: "No More Myths and Misconceptions - See Us for Real". Join us for a fun-filled multicultural fair to celebrate the social, cultural and spiritual benefits of cultural diversity. 
With the support of Darebin City council, two hall has been booked with internal connection, one is going to be use for stalls setting and other with stage for entertainment including stalls for different culture.
There are going to be fun for all age. Please register to get FREE cultural teas, Henna Tattoos and face painting.  
The event will transmit pride and a sense of belonging among Victorians from diverse ethnic, cultural, linguistic and religious backgrounds and included migrants, refugees. 
Please spread the word among your families and friends and invite people from a different culture and faith to join in the celebration.
