Description

Taimus Werner-Gibbings presents a Lakespeare & Co production, in association with Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council: Shakespeare by the Lakes on the River. In 2018, this features "Much Ado About Nothing", a delightful comedy for the whole family to enjoy in Queen Elizabeth II Park by the River.

Queanbyan-Palerang Regional Council

Food and beverages available from 5:30pm. Live music pre-show. Much Ado from 6:30pm. Arrive early to grab a spot.

January 19th UPDATE: Thank you to Queanbeyan for showing such a huge interest in outdoor theatre, we have been overwhelmed by the response. Registrations to date indicate a HIGH level of interest in this show. Far beyond our expectations. Given that all areas are open to the public, those arriving later may have their sight tested when trying to capture a look at our talented actors.

If you are not able to arrive early, consider attending a February 14-16 performance. For example, on Thursday 15th February, at Tuggeranong Town Park, we can guarantee excellent vantage points, whenever you get there.

Registering for this event enables us to keep you updated with the latest news.

Sponsored by the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council, our Feburary 17th closing-night show rounds out the the first season of Shakespeare by the Lakes, realising a vision for FREE performances of Shakespeare plays in the summer months. See our other listings at lakespeare.eventbrite.com.au for the other shows on February 14-16.

Enjoy a warm summer evening together with a group of friends.

Shakespeare by the Lakes is made possible through our key audio-visual partner, Event AV Services.
