Mt Arthur Coal Community Tree Planting Day 2026

Community members are invited to join Mt Arthur Coal for our annual Community Tree Planting Day on Wanaruah/Wonnarua country.

Spend a few hours:

• Learn about our approach to rehabilitation
• Visit the pit and see our operation in action
• Find out more about our closure plans
• Learn about how we are managing Indigenous Cultural Heritage
• BBQ lunch and refreshments provided
• Free bus from Simpson Park Muswellbrook

The community bus will leave Simpson Park, Muswellbrook at 9am and return approximately 2pm. All visitors must travel by community bus to access the site.

Please note due to safety requirements attendance is limited. Any children attending must be 5 years or over and accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Should weather not be favourable on the day, the event will be cancelled and ticket holders notified.
