A one-day hands-on workshop designed to prepare paramedics for unexpected birth and the management of maternity emergencies, facilitated by Clinical Midwifery Educators from The Women’s Maternity Services Education Program (MSEP).

Supporting paramedics to assist women birthing at home and for when things don't go to plan. Includes interactive, hands-on workstations with high-fidelity models.


Date/Time: Thursday 26 March 2026 from 0800 to 1530
Location: Wodonga FRV Station training room, 81 Thomas Mitchell Dr, Wodonga VIC 3690

Standard ticket: $220 (plus GST & booking fees)
Excludes catering - please bring your own lunch and snacks.

  • Normal vaginal birth
  • Shoulder dystocia
  • Breech birth
  • Cord prolapse
  • Antepartum haemorrhage & preterm birth
  • Neonatal resuscitation
  • Post-partum haemorrhage

Cancellation policy: MSEP recommends offering your ticket to a colleague before requesting a refund. Full refunds will be granted for cancellations made before 19 March 2026. After this date, refunds will only be considered for medical reasons or extenuating circumstances.
