About the speaker

Anna Femmer founded the German-based architecture firm SUMMAmaCUMFEMMER in Leipzig in 2015 with Florian Summa.

After studying at The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Anne Femmer worked for von Ballmoos Krucker Architekten in Zurich as well as De Vylder Vinck Taillieu Architecten in Belgium. Afterward, she returned to The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology to work as an assistant for Christian Kerez and Jan de Vylder.

Florian Summa studied architecture at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen until 2011 and had a study visit between 2008 and 2009 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. He has worked for Lütjens Padmanabhan and Adam Caruso.

In 2020 Anne Femmer and Florian Summa have held a visiting professorship at the Technical University of Munich and since 2020 a professorship at the Technical University of Graz.
