MSA Beach Day

☀️ Kick off your summer with sun, sand and good vibes!

Want to join MSA Trips & Events for an awesome Beach Day at Sandringham Beach? Whether you’re into sports, just soaking up the sun, or meeting new friends, it’s the perfect way to hang out and create some unforgettable memories before uni kicks off!

We’ve got:

🏐 Fun beach games like volleyball, dodgeball, frisbee and more

🍉 Free snacks and drinks to keep you refreshed

🌊 A relaxed, welcoming vibe — perfect for new and returning students

This is a free event, but registrations are required.

📅 Date: 14th Feb

🕒 Time: 10:00 AM

📍 Location: Infront of the Sandringham Life Saving Club - between the red and yellow flags.

🎟️ Tickets: Free — register on Eventbrite to secure your spot.

Please note that if you are not a strong swimmer, please do not swim more than 10 metres from the shoreline. You may get caught in a rip and this can lead to serious injuries or even death.

Please note that we are only providing some snacks for this event. Please ensure you bring snacks to share, or money to buy drinks and snacks. There are a number of food options at monash for you to choose from. Please also plan how you will be returning home after your evening finishes.

This event is hosted by MSA Volunteering: Social Events program. This leadership program was established in 1974 and aims to socialise and orient new Monash students before Week 0. MSA Trips and Events is a volunteer leadership program that provides Monash students with an opportunity to meet other students before their first day on campus. The events we run are fun, inexpensive and accessible, to provide safe spaces where students can meet other students, who they may never have bumped into otherwise. We welcome all new and returning Monash students (Domestic, International, Exchange students) from all Monash Campuses, as well as returning students who wish to take part.
