About the Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC)
The KS:CPC is a comprehensive child safety and respectful relationships program for children and young people age 3 to year 12.
In South Australia, the KS:CPC is mandated in all department and Catholic education sites and used in independent schools.
Educators that deliver the KS:CPC to children and young people must attend the full day Educator course.

Restricted access
The KS:CPC training is only available to educators from the following approved organisations:
- Department for Education
- Catholic Education South Australia
- Association of Independent Schools of South Australia
- Pre-service teachers enrolled at Flinders University, University of Adelaide, UniSA or Tabor College
- Community Children’s Centres SA
- Gawler Riverside Early Learning Centre
- Goodstart Early Learning Centres SA
- Green Leaves Early Learning Centres SA
- Lutheran Education SNW SA
- Ranges Early Learning Centre & Infant Toddler Centre
- Wendy’s Early Learning Centres SA.
COVID Safe practices
** Participants should not attend the training if unwell.
- Information about COVID safe practices will be provided before and during the training event.
- Venue capacity and seating complies with current restrictions.
- Hand sanitiser will be available.
- Mask wearing will comply with current requirements and are encouraged.
- Participant information collected.
- Participants are asked to avoid sharing personal items such as pens and pencils.

Cost includes:
- course handbook
- water, morning tea and lunch.
