• Bring reading glasses if needed for delicate stone setting
• For larger ring sizes, an extra 5g silver clay can be purchased on the day
• If making a ring for a loved one, please bring one of their rings for accurate sizing (paper or tape methods can be unreliable)
• All tools and equipment are provided

About the Artist – Shirley Wu

Shirley Wu is an award-winning jewellery and glass artist based in Adelaide CBD. She has led jewellery workshops for over four years, guiding participants of all skill levels to create meaningful, contemporary pieces.

Her practice explores transmigratory experiences, healing and meditative processes, informed by her Chinese heritage and evolving feminist awareness.

Shirley holds a Master of Design (Contemporary Art) and received the Adelaide Fringe Best Workshop & Talk Award in 2025.

Her workshops are hands-on, supportive and beginner-friendly, with clear guidance throughout.
