Offering a unique historical twist on the classic celebrations, Mother’s Day at Grossmann House is a special experience.

Join our knowledgeable guide on a tour of historic Grossmann House, Maitland’s fully restored 1870 Victorian house museum, to be transported to times gone by.

A delightful array of homemade savory and sweet treats, delicious finger sandwiches, refreshing fruit, tea, brewed coffee and juice will be set out for you to enjoy, and a celebratory glass of sparkling wine will be made available upon your arrival in the beautiful gardens of Brough House.

Built by Isaac Beckett, a prosperous Maitland merchant, Grossmann House is situated in the historic precinct of Church Street. Its twin, Brough House, was built by business partner Samuel Owens. For many years both properties were part of the Maitland Girls’ High School complex.

Can't make it for Mother's Day? Grossmann House is open on the second Sunday of each month from 10.30am - 3pm. Purchase General Entry tickets here.
