Join Artisan Kirsten Asche-Woodger for a relaxing one day workshop.

This course is ideal for beginners wanting to learn the techniques of mosaic and also suitable for all skill levels.

Kirsten Asche-Woodger considers herself to be a modern artisan. Her path towards her current practice has been through various forms of study and mentoring, interwoven with other pursuits, and honed by years of visual observation and response.

Mosaic is one of her favourite practices and she uses a combination of glass tiles, recycled crockery and beads as well semi-precious stones in order to create rich patterns and capture narrative.

Her teaching experience includes working with a variety of students in community Arts programs, teaching at various venues which include Art Encounters in Melbourne, her own workshops in St Kilda as well as her KIKA Design Studio & Gallery previously located at The Mill in Castlemaine.

She now teaches from the beautiful venue and period building called Dudley House located in the heart of Bendigo at 60 View Street.

Materials are included in the workshop costs and consist of antique crockery, beads, glass and glass tiles,custom hand made bird, angel or butterfly shape, glue, grouting material, tools and unique workspace.
