About this event

This workshop is for the total beginner. There is no cutting of tiles, just gluing, all you have to do is choose a design.

This WELCOME sign is 40cm wide by 20cm high.

In this 6 hour mosaic workshop, you will choose tiles to glue to the board. There are many many tiles to choose from, all shapes, sizes and colours. There will be examples to follow, or you can 'go your own way'!

The sign is created on a Thermasheet board, a waterproof material that will ensure it will last when hung outside. It will have a hanging system included. The wording is created from acrylic and can be either black or white. Same with the butterfly.

Following the workshop, your pieces will need to dry overnight and then it must be grouted to ensure it is waterproof and ready for the garden. I will send you home with instructions and a grout pack or you can come to my courtyard in South Perth on a Mon/Tue for a 1 hour grouting lesson.

This workshop will be held at Perth Mosaic, 47 Railway Road , Kalamunda, Western Australia
