Overview

No step-by-step instruction. No boring theory. 100% practice.

Looking for a new hobby? Dreaming of creating beautiful mosaics for your home, garden, or as unique gifts? Or maybe you just need some relaxing "mosaic therapy"?

You might ask, "Why not just watch step-by-step videos online?" If you want to study mosaics, YouTube is a great place to start. But if you want to actually create a mosaic masterpiece—with the guidance of a teacher who values your time, creativity, and hands-on learning—this class is for you!

What makes our classes unique?

  1. We value your time – No boring theory, just practical, hands-on learning.
  2. Watch and repeat – I demonstrate the techniques, and you create alongside me.
  3. Unleash your creativity – Discover your inner artist with our guidance.
  4. 100% practice – Dive straight into creating your masterpiece!

The main difference with our classes is that you don’t make the same mosaic as everyone else. Each participant creates their own unique piece.

And the best part: by the end of the class, you will leave with a fully finished mosaic that you created yourself!

Check out photos from past classes—participants have created stunning mosaics in just 4 hours! Their happy smiles say it all.

The best thing about our classes? You choose what you want to create. Bring your ideas, photos for inspiration, or make a gift for someone special. Or simply craft something beautiful for your home. I’ll help you bring it to life!

This class is perfect for anyone wanting to learn the beautiful craft of mosaics—whether it’s small decorative pieces or larger wall art. Our classes are relaxed, informal, and filled with inspiration, where students of all skill levels work together.

Ready to create something amazing? Join us and turn your dreams into reality!

Welcome and Introduction – 5 minutes
A warm welcome and a brief overview of what we’ll be creating. You’ll learn how to cut tiles into different shapes and sizes, arrange your design, and securely glue the pieces.
There is no theory — this workshop is nearly 100% hands-on from the very beginning.
Unlike many other workshops, here you won’t be making the same mosaic as everyone else. Instead, you’ll choose from a variety of base shapes and create something that truly reflects your own style and taste.

Mosaic Making – 3 hours
Time to get creative. Choose your colours, cut your tiles, and bring your design to life with our support and guidance. You're welcome to take breaks at any time — stretch, enjoy a tea or coffee, or have a snack if you’ve brought one.

Drying Time – 10 to 20 minutes
A short break while the adhesive sets before we move on to the final stage.

Grouting and Finishing – 45 minutes
We’ll demonstrate how to apply grout and guide you through the finishing touches so your piece is ready to take home. I’ll be there throughout the session, along with my two assistants and my husband, to help whenever needed.

Tea and biscuits available throughout the session
Feel free to help yourself whenever you need a moment to pause and recharge.

My classes are highly appreciated for their ability to:

- Enhance fine motor skills and creativity

- Improve concentration and flexibility

- Reduce stress and negative emotions

- Promote relaxation and a friendly social atmosphere

During the class, you'll create a mosaic on a ready-made base, with options like photo frames, animal shapes, hearts, houses, garden pots, or wall plaques. For house numbers, mirrors, bird baths/feeders, trays, or Lazy Susans, an additional cost applies.

Class numbers vary from week to week, but there’s generally plenty of time for your teacher to give everyone individual attention with their mosaic project as required.

You will go away from one of our classes feeling inspired and ready to create your next masterpiece. Mosaic is a great medium for beginners because it is accessible for people who don’t have much confidence in their ability to draw. Images can be rendered merely by arranging tile by trial and error until you like what you see. Water, tea and coffee provided, please bring your own food, herbal teas, cool drinks etc.

This class is beginner-friendly, perfect as a gift experience for any keen creative!
