Her columns have appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Brisbane Times, Canberra Times, Business Day and WA Today.
Her road to the newsstand included a Bachelor of Economics (majoring in accounting and a stint at professional services firm PwC) along with a Graduate Diploma in Communication (journalism, public relations). Valerie has since worked at three major publishing houses – ACP Magazines, EMAP and Pacific Magazines.
