Join us for morning tea and the launch of The Spirit Sky, featuring Emily Green’s poetry art, book insights, and personalised poem requests.

Join us for the official launch of Emily Green’s exhibition The Spirit Sky – a stunning collection of 2D artworks blending short-form poetry and graphic art. Many pieces are drawn from her self-published book The Spirit Sky: From the Waters Above, inspired by the concept of an “ocean in the sky” and the healing synchronicities found in nature.

Emily’s work explores themes of renewal, connection, and ancestral wisdom, offering comfort and inspiration through poetic verses and visual storytelling. This deeply personal project is dedicated to her beloved mother, Trish Green.

About the artist

Emily Rose is a local artist living in Lake Macquarie. Her creative practice includes lyric and short verse poetry writing with her personalised graphic art designs. Emily uses healing metaphors in her writing style while capturing the emotion of each poem visually to create a healing field for her readers.

Emily is currently publishing a book of poetry verses describing the healing she finds in nature. Emily has dedicated the poetry book to her mother, Patricia Green who passed away in 2022. Patricia taught Emily the wisdom in creative expression. Emily's poetry book includes phrases taken from her original songs. Through her creative practice Emily draws on inspiration from life lessons while finding solace in nature & heaven.

Emily enjoys creating a healing atmosphere for viewers of all ages.
