The Moondani Toombadool Centre is hosting a one day Indigenous Studies Symposium on the 5th December.
This event will include panel sessions on Indigenous teaching and learning, and on Indigenous research. The panels will be moderated by Indigenous academics and will consist of Indigenous and non-Indigenous academics and teachers.
The symposium is open to all Swinburne staff and HDR students and will be opened by our Vice-President, Engagement, Jane Ward.
This symposium will contribute to the implementation of Swinburne's Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan, assist in fostering a culture of Indigenous teaching and learning and research, and will deepen staff skills and understandings regarding Indigenous teaching and learning, knowledge, and research.
The symposium will discuss these areas in relation to a wide range of disciplines including arts, business, design, education, health, humanities, law, science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
