About this event

  • 2 hours

Come along to Leongatha Library the second Tuesday of each month for a new creative experience in an intimate, cosy setting among the shelves. Spend the evening winding down in this adults-only environment; have a few laughs, make some new friends, and take home a new artwork or creative project each month*.

JUNE 11th: Come and explore the wonderful world of tea culture and taste some fine teas with Kate & Shaun.

This workshop explores tea and tisanes, the many varieties and forms, methods of brewing and most importantly offers tastings! Each participant is invited to share their own tea stories while we brew and sip. On the night, we will brew and taste some fine teas - a green tea, an oolong, a black tea and a fermented tea (Pu-erh). We will examine tasting notes for each of the teas and use a flavour wheel to describe our own tasting experience.

Myli Community Libraries is a child-safe organisation.

Myli - My Community Library acknowledges the traditional custodians of the various lands where our services and programs take place. We pay our respect to the Elders, past and present, and acknowledge the long and proud history of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia, who have nurtured and cared for the waters, skies, and lands that we gather on, for many thousands of years, and continue to do so to this day.
