<h2>MonoDuo</h2><p>The Multi-Arts Pavilion mima (MAP mima) and Palace bring you MonoDuo: a festival of fresh music and arts, born on the shores of Lake Macquarie, on Awabakal Country.</p><p>Inspired by experimental practice in the realms of electronic music and art, MonoDuo invites exploration and open mindedness. Audiences will be treated to a diverse mix of dance music that adventures from disco, house and world music, right through to techno, breaks and electro.</p><p>We’re here for the dancefloor, sure, but we’re also here to respect and love each other. MAP mima and the surrounding Speers Point Park provides an uplifting, safe space where everyone can dance in celebration. There’ll be music, art installations, a beautiful lake, great food, cold beverages and a stage stacked to the brim with Australia&#x27;s best in the electronic scene.</p><p>The line-up features esteemed electronic music artists including Newcastle-born and internationally-renowned producer Loods; music producer, former Triple J host and founder of pure space Andy Garvey; experimental electronic artist Assembler Code; FBi Radio hosts and renowned record label DJ group Motorik Records; and Newcastle-born Melbourne-based producer, DJ and radio host Lex. They will be joined by  Melbourne DJ and  Producer Loicc, and talented locals Soul Wun, N3BULA and Jun Wan.</p><p>We remember and respect the Ancestors who care for and nurture the Country. It is in their footsteps that we travel these lands and waters. This event is not BYO alcohol, please enjoy our bespoke Harry and Lola&#x27;s Bar.</li><li>Do bring along an empty water bottle to fill up when you&#x27;re on site</li><li>There will also be food trucks to keep your tummy satisfied.</li><li>Feel free to bring along picnic blankets for extra comfort.</li><li>Plan how you will arrive and get home again safely. Our location is 96 Creek Reserve rd, Speers Point. You can access via Creek Reserve Road or Park Road near the pool. </li><li>The nearest train station is Cockle Creek, with Teralba not much further. A few buses also run nearby. Please check public transport timetables and services. </li><li>If you&#x27;re travelling by car we recommend carpooling with a designated driver or booking a taxi or Uber. </li><li>Tickets are still available - please share the link with friends https://bit.ly/MonoDuo.</li><li>Tickets will also be available at the door for your friends who live last-minute! Bring them along too :)</li><li>Gates will open from 11:45am.
