About this event

Hosted by the Monash International Affairs Society (MIAS), MUNash is a two day Model United Nations conference held at the beginning of the mid-semester break on September 26th - 27th 2022. This MUNash conference will be held in-person at the Monash University Clayton campus. Alongside the Conference, there will be a catered social event after the second night where you can meet other participants in a fun and relaxed environment.

MUNash aims to introduce beginners and experienced MUN'ers to the world of Model UN with Monash, where one can experience the thrill of debating major global issues on the international stage in a fun and comfortable setting. With stimulating discussions, fun networking opportunities, and MUN Masterclasses, MUNash will be a fantastic way of reconnecting with campus life.

This is a great opportunity to not only develop skills and discuss matters of international importance but a great way to meet new people with similar interests. MUN-ers of all levels are welcome - whether you're a beginner or a seasoned veteran, there's a committee to match your experience level! Plus, all attendees will be given a goodie bag filled with every MUNner's favourite essentials.

Important Notes:

After purchasing a ticket you will be sent a confirmation email. This email will also include a link to place your committee preferences via a Google Form.

Organised by

Monash International Affairs Society (MIAS) is a club at Monash University Clayton Campus that works towards establishing a network for students passionate about international affairs and relations. It is worth disclosing that Monash International Affairs Society is an apolitical body, associated with no particular ideology, political organisation or party.

MIAS aims to develop students’ skills in vital areas such as debating, negotiation, leadership, problem solving and understanding of international affairs. We aim to do this through a number of different national and international projects, conferences, ventures, internships and summits. MIAS aims to deliver an opportunity for Monash University students to be part of a society that promises to produce networking opportunities, academic and educational progress and most importantly a chance for students to realise their full personal potential.
