Monash Law presents Voices in Law

An International Women’s Day Panel & Networking Event

A conversation for all alumni on leadership, lived experience, and the future of the legal profession.

Monash Law invites our alumni, students, staff, and supporters to join us for our International Women’s Day Panel and Networking Evening, the Faculty’s first engagement event of 2026.

This event will bring the Monash Law community together to explore equity, leadership, and career pathways in law through the lived experiences of our alumni. Framed around International Women’s Day, the panel will reflect on progress made, barriers that remain, and the role we all play in shaping a more inclusive legal profession.

A welcome by Geraldine Johns-Putra, Deputy Chancellor of Monash University and law alumni, will be followed by a panel session with The Hon Jennifer Coate AO, Dr Deborah Glass OBE, Tuanh Nguyen OAM, and Raviana Sailo. Together, they will share insights from their professional journeys and discuss the experiences that have shaped their leadership and impact.

The panel discussion will be followed by drinks, canapés, and networking, providing an opportunity to reconnect with the Monash Law community and strengthen relationships across alumni, students, staff, and industry.

The Dean and Faculty warmly invite you to attend. This event is open to everyone - all genders are encouraged to participate and be part of the conversation on equity, leadership, and shared responsibility within the legal profession. Meaningful change is shaped through shared voices, lived experience, and collective participation.
