About this event

  • 7 hours 30 minutes

AHA Day 2024 will be live-streamed via WebEx Events on Wednesday, 13 November between 9.00am – 4.30pm AEDT.

The theme of this year’s event will be Working Towards an Inclusive Future.

Inclusion is the practice or policy of providing equal access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalised. As allied health assistants, we practice this with the consumers we see on a daily basis. It's also reflected in the opportunities for leadership and progression that we strive for in our workplaces.

This year, we want to showcase the inspiring work that AHAs have been doing across the country in this space. AHAs are champions of inclusion and pioneers in emerging leadership roles.

Calls for Abstracts now OPEN until close of business 7 June.

Frequently asked questions

Can Monash Health create an invoice for my organisation to purchase tickets?

Unfortunately, no. Monash Health is not able to issue invoices for payment. All sales need to go directly through Eventbrite. Please keep your purchase order receipt for reimbursement within your organisation.

I've purchased a ticket but I haven't got the event link yet.

Thanks for purchasing an AHA Day ticket! Don't worry, event login details will be shared with you via the email you used to purchase tickets, as well as via the Online Event Page closer to the event date. Be sure to keep an eye out for these in the week leading up to the event.

Can I purchase one individual ticket and share the login with others?

Registrations are locked to an individual's email and full name used to purchase the ticket. Only these details can be used to login to our event. A lot of work also happens behind the scenes to plan/coordinate and run AHA Day. Your support through ticket purchase helps to keep this event running.

Is there an option to attend AHA Day in-person?

AHA Day is a virtual online event. We do encourage AHAs to create "Watch Parties" at their place of work and to share the experience via our Social Wall on the day.

I've purchased a group ticket and wish to join the event using a dedicated WebEx/conferencing device

If you've purchased a group ticket and are planning on using a dedicated WebEx or conferencing device, please contact us at MonashHealthAHADay@monashhealth.org for further instructions on how to join. There will be a test session on Tuesday the 12th of November - we recommend you attend this also.

I've purchased a ticket but won't be able to attend for some or all of the event day.

All presentations from AHA Day 2024 will be recorded and made available to view after our event for registered individuals. These recordings will be accessible via the WebEx platform (same way you login and view the event on the day) for a period of 60 days after our event (unless otherwise stated).
