MODERN SLAVERY: Are the Current Regulatory Responses​ Modern and Gender Sensitive?

You’re invited to a Reception and Keynote Address with Professor Surya Deva, Vice Chair, United Nations Working Group on Business and Human Rights​.

Professor Deva is an Associate Professor at the School of Law of City University of Hong Kong, and the current Vice Chair of the UN Working Group.

Since 2000, he has been researching in the areas of business and human rights, with a special focus on exploring means to hold corporations accountable for human rights abuses and strengthening access to remedies for victims.

In a special Q&A, Professor Deva will share his views on how to improve the current regulatory responses to modern slavery.
