Mixed Art with Ian - Blackwood Community Centre

Tuesday afternoons 1.00-3.00 pm.

This term we will continue to build on the drawing skills. Observational studies and various rendering techniques will then be developed into a suite of final paintings.

You will learn various techniques in the variety of subjects used to initiate art works. It will be interesting and fun with clear instructions given each lesson (by a qualified and trained art teacher). You will learn some of the basics of how to use paints, colours and brushes, basic drawing from observation techniques as well as transitioning natural objects and forms into abstraction to produce final art works.

Please note: paints and brushes will be supplied.

Participants will need to bring an A3 or A4 size canvas to each class. In addition, it is advised to purchase an A3 sketch pad/book of reasonable quality cartridge paper.

Located upstairs at Tiwu Kumangka, in the Blackwood Community Centre.
