Event description
A Meter Apart : Intimate performances for deep listening.

About this Event

Miss Possum is Humpty Doo based producer, poet, violinist and vocalist Gaia Osborne. She weaves stories and reflections on how we ground ourselves and connect to each other and the world around us through ethereal rap, with soaring violin, vocals and big bass beats.

Miss Possum has performed live sets at Coalescence Festival in FNQ, Darwin Fringe Festival, Wide Open Space, Nightcliff Seabreeze festival, toured Cambodia and supported Spoonbill and Electric Fields.

Her genre bending production brings flavours of triphop, trap and global bass creating a sonic experience that nourishes the mind with thought provoking spoken word and lyricism, exploring spirit of place, and the perceptions of how we interact internally and externally and the borders between the real and the imagined.
