Whether your child is a little bub, learning to read, or finishing up school, our libraries and community centres offer a range of events throughout the year (including school holidays!) to keep them engaged and entertained.

Welcome to the Civic Library, located within the Civic Centre and Council Chambers. We proudly house the state's largest collection of Asian and Indian language resources, along with lively preschooler sessions and engaging author talks.

Words Grow Minds

The Words Grow Minds campaign is about how parents and caregivers can help babies and young children to thrive - through talking, reading, playing and singing together from birth.
