Duration: Monday 13th to Wednesday 15th April, 1pm to 4pm each day

JDK 25 Installed (Run The Downloaded File And Follow The Steps)
Overview
Day 1 – Introduction, Safety & Recording (3 Hours)
Goals
Understand how Minecraft videos are made, learn creator safety basics, and record gameplay for cinematic filming.
Agenda
Welcome and Introduction
- Course overview and learning outcomes
- What makes a great Minecraft video (clarity, creativity, pacing)
- Examples of cinematic Minecraft videos and trailers
Basic safety: Never share real names, school, location, or private chats
Planning on Paper
- Brainstorm a video idea (build showcase, cinematic flyover, short story)
- Plan a simple structure: beginning, middle, end
- Sketch key shots and camera angles
- Discuss respectful and responsible content choices
Intro to ReplayMod
- What ReplayMod does and why creators use it
- Difference between live gameplay and cinematic replays
- How gameplay recording works (high-level overview)
Safety: Recording gameplay does not mean uploading it
Gameplay Recording Session
- Build, explore, or act out scenes in Minecraft
- Record gameplay using ReplayMod
- Check recordings are saved correctly
Day 2 – Cinematic Cameras & Editing (3 Hours)
Goals
Use ReplayMod to create smooth camera shots and begin editing a cinematic video.
Agenda
ReplayMod Camera Basics
- Free camera movement and controls
- Camera paths and keyframes
- Creating smooth motion and avoiding shaky shots
- Understanding shot types (flyover, close-up, reveal)
Filming Cinematic Shots
- Re-watch recorded gameplay
- Capture multiple cinematic angles
- Experiment with camera movement and timing
- Instructor feedback and guidance
Intro to Video Editing
- What editing is and why it matters
- Cutting boring parts and improving pacing
- Ordering clips to tell a clear story
- Save and organise video clips properly
Day 3 – Polish, Thumbnails & Showcase (3 Hours)
Goals
Finish the video, learn presentation skills, and understand safe sharing practices.
Agenda
Final Editing & Polish
- Refine cuts and transitions
- Ensure smooth flow and clear ending
- Optional music (copyright-safe only)
- Review video length and quality
Thumbnails & Titles
- What makes a good thumbnail (clear, simple, honest)
- Create a basic thumbnail for your video
- Write a safe, non-clickbait title and description
Showcase & Wrap-Up
- Present your finished video to the group
- Explain your idea and favourite camera shot
- Positive peer feedback and reflection
Safety & Supervision
All sessions include built-in lessons on cybersecurity and responsible online behavior.
Students will learn to protect their private information, safely manage server IPs, and detect untrustworthy downloads.
Instructors ensure all mods and files are sourced from verified, educationally safe repositories.

- Admin permissions for computer (No parental controls)
