The Gold Coast Chapter presents a range of events for teachers in South East Queensland. These events cater for all teachers across the spectrum of eLearning, ICT and IT experience. The emphasis is on fun, collaboration and building strong and supportive network of friends and colleagues.

Teacher workshop to develop  a  Technologies and sustainability project using the micro:bit

Mudgeeraba Creek State School

Following our successful 2020 Micro:bit introductory workshop, QSITE Gold Coast is presents the next step in our Micro:bit Workshop/ Challenge series.

Micro:bit Workshop – Plan your Project will focus on assisting teachers to create a student Technologies project in order to solve a problem in their environment. Participants will:
•	Work together to develop a project exemplar using the micro:bit 
•	Begin to examine possible projects to use with their own student groups
Later in the year, student groups will be able to participate in our Micro:bit Challenge. Teachers will be supported to work with their students towards the student challenge. However participants of this workshop do not have to commit to the Micro:bit Challenge.
