This course is designed for dental technicians who want to elevate their craftsmanship to the next level. This intensive training focuses on precision, natural aesthetics and advanced micro layering techniques you can apply immediately in your daily work. Refine your skills, improve consistency and achieve highly realistic results through guided practical steps.
During this hands-on workshop, participants will prepare a 6 units anterior bridge and soft tissue restoration using advanced micro layering techniques with the new the IPS emax Ceram Art (0.2 - 0.8 mm). Half side of the bridge will be focused on young/bright teeth and the other side will be older/darker teeth. Additionally, one monolithic tooth will be prepared in green state and infiltration techniques using a gradient technology zirconia. One bake biomimetic stain technique will be use to create high esthetic monolithic restorations. These techniques will focus on natural efficient micro layering, shape, surface texture and mechanical polishing all to meet the esthetic challenge of today's patients.
Topics Covered Will Include:
- Understanding the zirconia disc concept, substructure design and shade selection
- Utilize shade analysis with digital photography
- Perform green stage work on monolithic and cutback structures, including infiltration techniques for creating the perfect color
- Master advanced layering concepts to create the illusion of depth and translucency with micro layering
- Develop natural contours and surface texture using brush only and mechanical polishing techniques
