Join us for a full-day ACL workshop with the creator of the Melbourne ACL guide, Mick Hughes.


This one-day ACL workshop provides a comprehensive overview of ACL injury epidemiology and treatment options, including non-operative rehab, pre-op rehab, and post-op rehabilitation phases. The workshop is designed for healthcare professionals who are interested in enhancing their knowledge and skills in managing ACL injuries.

The workshop will consist of 8 hours of content, with a balanced mix of theory and practical sessions. Participants will learn about the latest research and evidence-based practices related to ACL injuries and gain hands-on experience through practical demonstrations and case studies.

Topics covered in the workshop will include:

• epidemiology of ACL injuries

• risk factors and mechanisms of injury

• strategies for ACL injury prevention

• different treatment options for ACL injuries, including non-operative rehab

• pre-op rehab and post-op rehabilitation phases including exercise progressions, and return-to-play criteria


Throughout the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions, ask questions, and share their own experiences and challenges in managing ACL injuries. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a solid understanding of the latest concepts and best practices in ACL injury management and be equipped with practical skills that they can apply in their clinical practice.

About Mick

Mick Hughes is the co-founder of Learn.Physio and an APA titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist. He consults at the North Queensland Physiotherapy Centre, and has a strong clinical interest in ACL injury prevention and rehabilitation, seeing approximately 20-30 ACL injured patients a week.

With his passion of improving outcomes in ACL injured patients, he helped develop the Melbourne ACL Rehabilitation Guide with Learn.Physio co-founder, and APA titled Specialist Sports Physiotherapist, Randall Cooper. Outside of his clinical role and sharing online education, Mick likes to enjoy the simple things in life and spends his time with his wife and young family and puppy Luna.
