Micah Women's Network Dinner 2026 Perth
Come join us at the Micah Women's Network Dinner 2026 in Perth for a night of networking, empowerment, and delicious food!
This evening is for Christian women across Perth who care deeply about justice and want to make a real difference.
The world can feel deeply broken, in the news, in our feeds, and in conversations we don’t know how to finish. But feeling that weight doesn’t mean you’re powerless. It means your heart is awake.
This March, the Micah Women’s Network is gathering Christian women across Australia, and here in Perth, for an evening of connection, learning, and practical action. This is a space to come together, name the injustices we care about, and discover how our faith can shape meaningful change in the world.
What to Expect
- Hear powerful stories from women working on the frontlines of global justice
- Learn what’s really happening in the world and why it matters now
- Be equipped with practical, achievable ways to use your voice for change
- Connect with a community of women who care about the issues you care about
- Leave feeling informed, encouraged, and empowered

Why this matters – and why this works
Established in 2018, the Micah Women’s Network now includes over 1,000 women across Australia and has coordinated more than 300 meetings with Federal MPs, both locally and in Canberra. Through prayerful, persistent advocacy, women in the Network have helped shape national decisions on aid, humanitarian response, and refugee protection.
This is the kind of impact that becomes possible when women come together with clarity, courage, and conviction.
Introducing our Keynote Speakers
We’re honoured to welcome Asuntha Charles, a global humanitarian leader with over 25 years’ experience working in some of the world’s most fragile contexts.
Asuntha is the newly appointed National Director of World Vision in Solomon Islands and Vanuatu, leading work in a region facing significant climate, economic, and geopolitical challenges. Previously, she served as National Director of World Vision Afghanistan, championing locally led solutions that centred the voices of women and children under Taliban rule.
More recently, Asuntha led World Vision’s Middle East humanitarian response to the Israel Palestine conflict and worked in Cox’s Bazar during the Rohingya refugee crisis. A trained counsellor and gender specialist from Tamil Nadu, India, she is deeply committed to the belief that people affected by crisis must lead their own solutions.
This is a rare opportunity to hear from a globally recognised expert working on the frontlines of global justice, offering insight, hope, and a powerful reminder that change is possible when courage meets compassion.
Asuntha’s own story is shaped by a deep faith and a belief that God has called women to speak prophetically, using their voices to challenge injustice and bring change.
Following Asuntha’s reflections, Rev. Tim Costello, Executive Director of Micah Australia and one of Australia’s most respected voices for social justice, will help connect the global stories and challenges we hear to Australia’s role in the world today. Tim will outline how Micah, through the Safer World for All campaign, is advocating for Australia to act generously and justly towards its global neighbours, and why the voices of Christian women are so crucial right now.
Tim will also highlight practical ways women can take action in their churches and local electorates by engaging their Federal MPs.
So let’s come together Perth
Perth is one of Australia’s most globally connected cities. Our communities are shaped by migration, cultural diversity, and deep ties to people and places beyond our shores. For many women here, global justice issues aren’t abstract, they affect family, friends, neighbours, and communities we’re part of every day.
This night is for women who:
- Care about what’s happening in the world but aren’t sure where to start
- Have felt overwhelmed or unsure how their voice could make a difference
- Are seeking connection with others who care about faith, justice, and action
- Or you’re an experienced advocate looking to deepen your impact
Students, professionals, mums and leaders, women from every stage of life are welcome. And if you’re in high school with a heart for justice, this night could genuinely shape how you see your role in the world.
This gathering matters because when women come together, change follows. When women in Perth are informed, connected, and equipped, the impact reaches far beyond our city.
Seats are limited. Secure your spot and invite your friends, team, or church community to join you.
