Metro South GPLO Team invite you to join us for our GP Shared Care Alignment Session 1 focusing on Medical Complications in Pregnancy

Metro South GP Maternity Shared Care Alignment 1.1 (AM1) Session 1

The Metro South GP Maternity Shared care Team is excited to announce they will be hosting an evening event as part of our Alignment 1 Program February 17th 5.30pm – 8.30pm at The Brisbane South Private Hospital, Paxton Street, Springwood 4217.

This session is tailored for practitioners that provide maternity care to families within Logan, Redland, and Beaudesert catchments.

This education evening will give you the opportunity to discuss your cases with Obstetricians, Midwives, Obstetric medicine Specialists, and your GP colleagues.

The event will focus on:

Medical Conditions in the Perinatal Period
(including GDM, Diabetes in Pregnancy, Hypertension in Pregnancy, and Thyroid Complications in Pregnancy)

Recommended pre-reading will be circulated in the fortnight prior.

Dinner will be provided.

NOTE: this is a self-reported for educational activity and reviewing performance CPD points (Hours discussed on the day)

This year the AM1 will continue to be presented as a series of evening events. The sessions are open to all practitioners who deliver maternity care, but GPs must attend at least 3 events to be recognised as MSHHS aligned.
