2 day Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid Australia provides evidence-based training courses that equip people with the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence to recognise, understand and respond to someone experiencing mental health problems.
Our training courses train participants to serve as a bridge to professional care, guiding individuals to connect a friend, family member, co-worker or someone they know to appropriate resources and support.
Course will run on Monday 16th & Tuesday 17th March at the Queanbeyan Veteran and Family Hub.

This program is open to all members of the veteran community, including:
- A veteran who is an ex-serving member of the Australian Defence Force (ADF)
- A current serving member of the ADF where you are accessing as a member of the community not as part of your ADF employment
- A family member of a current or ex-serving ADF member
- A friend, carer, employer, or colleague of a current or ex-serving ADF member
- An advocate or Ex-Service Organisation (ESO) representative
- A Healthcare worker supporting the veteran community
- A community member supporting the veteran community
