Speakers

Dr Virginia French

Dr Virginia French is a multi-discipline trained doctor who has delivered care to women for two decades. An Australian medical graduate she spent most of her career in the UK, bringing international awareness to the menopause conversation. Empowering women by increasing their autonomy in health decisions is her priority.

Katire Alsworth, RN

Katie Alsworth is a Registered Nurse with more than 36 years experience, majority of which was spent in the UK working in ICU. Katie has spent the last 6 years working in cosmetics where she provides holistic care to her patients. Katie has a keen interest in menopause and its effects on skin and women’s health and wellbeing .

Liz Kilby - Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Liz has been working with people experiencing pelvic pain and changes in bladder and bowel health for over seven years. She graduated from the University of Canberra in 2009 and worked in hospital and private practice settings before establishing her mobile physio business and joining Fundamental Health as a dedicated pelvic health physiotherapist. Liz is a holistic practitioner who is focused on functional outcomes and ensuring that treatment and rehab fit seamlessly into her client’s everyday routine.

Hilary Sargeant - Clinical Psychologist

Hilary Sargeant is a clinical psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience. She has a special interest in women’s health across the lifespan, including health issues such as endometriosis, painful sex, infertility, coping in the perinatal period and managing menopause. Hilary worked for many years in psycho-oncology with the Cancer Council Queensland and has been working in a Canberra private practice for the last 7 years.
