Mend & Mingle

Bring something you'd like to repair and our volunteers will show you how.

Make basic repairs on the clothes and textiles you love so you can keep them out of landfill.

Volunteers will teach you to

• sew a button back on
• mend a small hole or tear
• fix a fraying hem or seam
• add a patch
• take up or let down a hem.

Basic hand-sewing supplies will be available for use in the session but you must bring along something you would like to repair.

• Suitable for adults and children aged 10 andover with the help of their guardian.
• Tea and coffee is provided. Bring your own mug.
• Please note this is not a repair or alteration service.
• Bookings essential.

If you’ve got mending to do but don’t need help, come along anyway and mingle while you mend.
