Toast the morning with a sparkling wine mimosa (adults) before enjoying a sumptuous grazing buffet breakfast in our marquee at Waterhole Trail, complete with barista-crafted coffee.

Expert Insights & Elephant Stories

Discover what makes our elephant habitat world-leading through an engaging expert talk by our Visitor Experience Officer. Hear the remarkable story of the herd's journey from Melbourne Zoo and how they're settling into their current habitat.

Elephant Habitat Experience

Enjoy a guided walk to the elephant habitat area, where you'll learn about the herd's daily routine and observe their morning activities in their expansive home.

Please note: To ensure the wellbeing of our elephants, they will not be visible in the habitat until 10:30 am while they complete their essential morning care routine.

Schedule

8:15am - Welcome at Werribee Open Range Zoo Front Entrance

8:30am - Exclusive access through Waterhole Trail

9:00am - Grazing buffet breakfast in Waterhole marquee

9:50am - Expert talk on habitat design, herd's behaviour, explore how they interact with their environment

10:20am - Guided walk to elephant habitat viewing area

Please note: Gates will be closed at 8.30am so please ensure you arrive on time so you don’t miss out. Guests are required to present their event ticket on arrival.

- Tickets are refundable up to 7 days prior to the event

- If you have a special dietary request, please include at the time of booking to ensure your request is catered for.

- Members are required to present their membership card and event ticket on arrival. Non-member guests will be required to present their event ticket.
