About this event

Member Protection Information Officers play an important role in sport. They are the primary contact point for issues around member protection. You can train to be an MPIO by completing the online and face-to-face training available through Play by the Rules.

This FREE course consists of 7 online modules and 1 virtual facilitated workshop. It outlines the important role of Member Protection Information Officer as the ‘go to’ person in your club for players and members to discuss issues and concerns.

Topics include:

  • Understanding the role of the MPIO
  • The communication skills required
  • How to provide advice and guidance
  • Determining conflicts of interest

Presenter: Morgan Lander (http://www.notonmywatch.com.au/ )

*Please note: The 7 online modules must be completed before the virtual facilitated workshop. Please visit https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/login/index.php#
