Join Tour Guides Australia colleagues for a 1-hour (approx) tour of Melbourne Town Hall. Visitors will explore the Town Hall while adhering to security and safety protocols. Tours take place in office areas and include:

Guided exploration of Melbourne Town Hall’s heritage and architecture
Insight into City of Melbourne operations
Understanding the building’s role in civic and cultural life
Opportunity to observe historic rooms and council chambers
Safe, structured, and accessible tours for all participants
Discuss the procedures and safety requirements relevant for all visitors, particularly regarding security, accessibility, and group conduct.
Accessibility:
Advise of any mobility, hearing, or vision requirements in advance. Please contact pdofficer@tga.org.au of any accessibility needs.
Important information:
- Check-in: 10–15 minutes before tour start at Security Concierge Desk
- Photo ID: Required for visitors 18+
- Children: Must be accompanied by a responsible adult
- Visitor Pass: Collect from the security desk and follow instructions
- Toilets: Nearest facilities on Collins Street; none inside for visitors
- Photography/Filming: Not allowed of staff or office areas unless approved by guide
- Late Arrivals: Not permitted; tours start promptly
- Large Bags/Backpacks/Prams: Not permitted; limited cloak space available at own risk
- Tour Duration: Approx. 60 minutes
