Celebrate the return of theatre with Melbourne Shakespeare Company’s exciting new musical adaptation of The Winter’s Tale!
About this event
One of Shakespeare’s greatest plays, and dubbed the original soap opera, The Winter’s Tale, smashes all the rules that we have come to expect from a traditional drama. Unity of time, place and action are hurled aside as we range across the world, from court to country, high tragedy to low comedy, across sixteen years. This exciting new production brought to us by the company's Artistic Director, Jennifer Sarah Dean (London's Globe Theatre) will keep audiences young and old on the edge of their seats with its dynamic combination of music, drama and comedy.
