About this event

Melbourne Connect is partnering with the Centre for AI and Digital Ethics (CAIDE) and the Melbourne University Debating Society (MUDS) to bring you our newest public debate series.

We’re bringing together thought leaders and experts from the Melbourne Connect ecosystem to engage in a spirited debate on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare.

Two teams made up of academics and industry partners, will present a ‘For’ and ‘Against’ side of a particular argument, with the audience given a chance to participate and interact with the panel.

  • Dr Shaanan Cohney, Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security at the University of Melbourne

  • Ashish Tiwari, Director, Technology at UST
  • Sonika Sayal, UX Designer at 4DMedical
  • Olivia Whyte, President of MUDS
