What is Street photography?

Street photography is a record of everyday life in a public area. It does not have a definite form but can be a moment or an idea to prompt the viewer. It can be a real event or a surreal interpretation. A great street photo conveys emotion and meaning.


What to bring:

Comfortable shoes and plenty of water.

Valid ID.

Umbrella/ Raincoat


We do require all participants to bring a DSLR or mirrorless camera with manual settings. This is for teaching best practices when shooting and editing photos later.

Analogue film cameras are also welcome.

Bonus points if you bring a speedlight/flash
