Frequently asked questions

Can we bring along extra guests?

No. Sorry, for safety reasons, the maximum number of visitors allowed entry at one time is 5 people, including children.

We are not sure if we want to meet the Highland Cows, can we come just to cuddle the donkeys?

Of course! The time you have booked is yours to spend with whichever of our animals you choose, you can meet all of them, some or just one. The choice is yours.

Can I feed treats to the animals?

Hmm. Yes and No. Visitors will be given the opportunity to feed some of the animals, but only with the food we provide. Please do not give the animals any other food as it could make them unwell.

What should I wear?

We know there has to be some of you out there that will be thinking this! Please remember, this is a farm, and it is high on a hill in Tasmania, so warm practical clothing is the way to go. Please wear closed in shoes, and long pants (no long flowing skirts please as they can spook the animals)

Can I take my own photos?

Of course! You are welcome to get snap happy and take as many photos as you like.
