All faculty and conjoint staff involved in teaching UNSW medicine Undergraduate/Postgraduate students, plus UNSW students researching medical education are invited to showcase their learning and teaching practice/research by presenting a presentation or poster on their design and innovation projects and educational research.
Abstracts are now open. Deadline midday on Monday 18 November 2019.
Please orientate your abstract to the 2019 Forum theme - Biomedical and Medical Education: The Future is Now.
Traditional Talk: 10-minute presentations on the educational aspects of practice and also PhD, ILP, or Honours research. Max 10 slides for 10-minute talk. Q&A time will be allocated in blocks of presentations.
Lightening Talk: 3-minute presentation (max 3 slides) plus 2 minutes Q&A. Ideal for those not wishing to do a full presentation or for early research results, etc.
TED Talk: 10 minutes plus 5 minutes (max 5 slides). Ideal for more theoretical and / or personal viewpoints.
Please send your 200-word presentation abstract (with title and all presenter/authors listed) to rachelt@unsw.edu.au. Abstract deadline midday on Monday 18 November 2019. Abstracts will be evaluated by a panel and authors notified by 25th November if they are successful.
Posters: We will also display any educational posters that have been presented elsewhere during 2019, or you may wish to create a new poster for the forum. Please send your poster details: title, 50-word summary and authors, to rachelt@unsw.edu.au deadline midday on Monday 18 November 2019.
