Medical laboratory visits 2016 registration form

If you are interested in a career as a medical scientist, these medical laboratory visits give you the chance to go behind the scenes in a laboratory.

Have you ever wondered what happens after you have a blood test or other medical tests done? Where does your blood sample go? How is it examined? How is a diagnosis made?

RMIT University, in collaboration with medical diagnostic and research laboratories across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, are giving Year 10, 11 and 12 students the chance to visit medical laboratories. These free half day visits will give you a chance to find out what really happens behind the scenes.

If you are interested in the laboratory investigation, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of disease, and want to know about the role of a medical scientist in this process, then come along to our of our visits.

Registrations are required and places are strictly limited. Due to limited places, registerations are open to Year 10, 11 and 12 students only and are limited to one laboratory visit per year.
