Are you ready to shred the skate park like a pro? Join us for our weekly skate coaching sessions at Meadowbank Skate Park! Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, our experienced coaches will guide you through every step of the way.

Tailor your experience and select any classes that fit your schedule, feel free to join as many as you'd like. We've got you covered with skateboards, helmets, and protective pads. Bring your own or use ours. Suitable for ages 5 years and over.

Registration and waiver submissions are essential. Book early, spots are strictly limited!


Concrete Riders skate coaching levels

Beginners: Master foundations - proper stance, stopping, and safe skateboarding basics.

Intermediate: Turn on ramps, create lines (combining tricks). Example: drop-in followed by a Kick Turn.

Advanced: Tailored for skaters aiming to seamlessly connect various tricks throughout the skatepark, emphasising precise technique, optimal body positioning, and customised progression aligned with individual skating goals.

GEAR: Bring your own or borrow for free - protective pads, helmets, and skateboards provided.

Frequently asked questions

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY SESSION?

We recommend you get started skating in loose, comfortable clothing with flat sneakers (no running shoes). All skaters must be equipped with a Helmet and Pad Set (Elbow, Knees and Wrist) as well as a refillable water bottle.

DO I NEED TO WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR?

Yes, it is compulsory to wear protective gear at our sessions, this includes a helmet, wrist guards, knee and elbow pads.

DO I NEED MY OWN SKATEBOARD GEAR?

We've got you covered with skateboards, helmets, and protective pads. Bring your own or use ours.

WHERE CAN I BUY MY SKATEBOARDING GEAR FROM?

DO YOU RUN SESSIONS ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS?

We will not run term lessons on public holidays, alternative workshops and private lessons may be offered.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT'S RAINING?

To ensure safety, skateboarding lessons will only take place on completely dry ground following wet weather. Rescheduling is up to Concrete Riders, we will notify participants via text at least 1 hour before the lesson. Makeup sessions will be available in the final week of term.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?

We kindly request that you confirm your availability before booking, as all bookings are final. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds.
