About this event

The McMichael Award will create a global network of future leaders to protect the health of people and the environment.

The Award honours the late Professor Tony McMichael, joint winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, former Director of the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health and world authority on the risks to human health from climate change.

The McMichael award has been funded by a generous donation from Associate Professor Judith Healy, the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health and the College of Health and Medicine.

Presentations to be followed by drinks and canapés.

  • Professor Darren Gray, Acting Director, National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health
  • Associate Professor Aparna Lal, Director of the McMichael Award Program

  • Professor Lyndall Strazdins, ARC Future Fellow
