Meet Your Presenters:
Dr Clifford Morrison completed his MBBS/BMSci fromthe University of Melbourne in2006. After working in Emergency Medicine in rural and regional areas, he discovered his passion for General Practice. He has been a GP for over 12 years and is a Fellow of the RACGP. Clifford is a practice owner/partner and teacher/supervisor of Registrars in two clinics located in the southeast of Melbourne. He joined the BFD team in 2024 after attending several BFD education sessions and hosting a two-day session at his clinics.Dr Morrison is passionate about MBS education and has seen its benefits on an individual and practice level.He believes that MBS education helps GPs practice better medicine in a financially viable and MBS-compliantmanner. Dr Morrison plays an active role in teaching at the BFD weekend workshops, online presentations and in house teaching at practices. Clifford enjoys sharing his knowledge on the MBS and how it can enhance General Practice not only at a GP level but also practice wide.
Dr Ian Kamerman is a dual Fellow of ACRRM and RACGP and a rural General Practitioner and business owner for over 30 years. Ian has a special interest in GP systems, addiction and palliative medicine, is a DAME and holds appointments at two universities. He is currently the Chair of the AMA Council of Rural Doctors and a Supervisor Liaison Officer for the RACGP. Ian has provided many years of supervised training and support to local and international graduates in general practice training as well as being a past PESCI interviewer. He is a past president of RDAA and GPSA. Ian is passionate about General Practice as an excellent career choice and endeavours to assist young Doctors have successful, financially viable practices. Ian has been a presenter with BFD for many years and in his spare time cannot seem to drag himself away from social media.
Dr Sarah Lewis is a specialist General Practitioner having gained her fellowship in 2010. Sarah is the owner of Port Melbourne Medical, a large inner-city clinic that serves the Port Melbourne community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sarah and her clinic played a significant role in the response effort by running a dedicated Federal Government Respiratory Clinic, which assessed 75,000 patients, and a vaccination clinic that administered vaccines to 35,000 patients.
Passionate about supporting GPs, Sarah has special interests in mentorship, compliance, governance, and improving clinical processes and efficiencies. Sarah is a board member of AGPA, lending her experience and voice to advocate for GP-owned clinics. Outside of work, Sarah is married with two children and has a labradoodle named Saint.
Dr Caroline Anderson (MBChB, FRACGP, PGCertMedEd) is a Melbourne-based General Practitioner with a clinical focus on women’s health across the lifespan, from puberty through to post-menopause. An international medical graduate from Scotland, she completed her general practice training in Glasgow before emigrating to Australia in 2015.Having completed her 10-year moratorium in mid-2025, Caroline is now expanding her work beyond traditional general practice settings. Her current interests include menopause-focused telehealth and independent solo GP consulting. She has built a highly engaged and loyal patient base, with consistently full appointment books.
Through extensive participation in BFD Education events, Caroline has fully integrated MBS compliance and combination billing into her clinical practice. She regularly utilises MBS Chronic Condition Management and Health Assessment item numbers to coordinate care for her patients within a private setting, improving access to affordable, comprehensive care.
Outside of work, Caroline enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, bike riding, and being outdoors in nature.
