45th conference of the Australian & New Zealand Map Society (ANZMapS), Mon/Tue 22-23 May 2017.
“Mastering maps, from creation to care”, will be an affordable hands-on and scholarly experience, with one day of practicals, and one for presentations/papers, in the CBD and at the University of Melbourne. On day one, the University of Melbourne and the State Library of Victoria are giving map enthusiasts, collectors and practitioners the opportunity to get close up and personal with the latest techniques in map-making, and preservation of maps. Day two, at the Queen Victoria Women's Centre (near the State Library), will be a full day of the latest map research. ANZMapS AGM will be held at the end of this day, 5-6pm.

Monday May 22: Workshop - Mastering Google Earth Pro and old maps ($40)
