Maribyrnong River Cruise - For young people aged 12 - 25
Come for a cruise up the Maribyrnong river!
Join Moonee Valley City Council's Conservation team and other young people as we explore from Aberfeldie up to Avondale Heights then drift downstream. Whether you want some inspiration for your artwork, chat to environment and conservation experts, or are just keen see a patch of the river inaccessible from land, this activity is for you!
This is a fun nature-based activity. No previous knowledge or experience is needed.

🕑 Time: 1:00pm - 3:35pm
📍Meeting location: The Rotunda at Maribyrnong Park Playground (The Boulevard, Moonee Ponds, VIC, 3039)
It can be found via on Google maps here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/6hKQigPWPNVSUMPv6
Nearest public transport: Tram number 41 / Bus number 468 / nearest Station Moonee Ponds or Ascot Vale (25 min walk).
We will meet, walk a short distance to the floating landing, get on the boat and set sail for a 2 hour boat trip. We will then walk back to the meeting place. The boat has a roof and open sides.
Please wear weather appropriate clothing, a hat and bring a water bottle.
We will provide snacks, binoculars, field guides, special guests.
