Overview

Get ready to paw-ty at Mardi Gras, where pets and their hoomans can celebrate together with fun activities and treats!

Mardi Gras: A Celebration for You and Your Pet

Join us for a joyful Mardi Gras evening at Southern Cross Veterinary Clinic, where pets and their people come together to celebrate love, colour and community.

This is a relaxed, inclusive event where you’re invited to dress up your furry companion in Mardi Gras–inspired outfits and enjoy a fun night out together. From bold costumes to subtle flair, it’s all about expressing personality, having fun and sharing the moment with your pet.

We’ll be running a Best Dressed Duo raffle on the night, so bring your creativity and let your pet shine. There’ll also be snacks and drinks for our human guests, along with treats for the pets, so everyone goes home happy.

With a $15 registration fee, you’ll be supporting Project HoPe, our charity dedicated to providing free veterinary care to the companion animals of people experiencing homelessness in Sydney. For many rough sleepers, their pets are their family, their comfort and often their reason to keep going. Your attendance helps protect that bond and ensures these animals receive the care they deserve.

Expect an evening filled with warmth, connection and purpose — a chance to celebrate Mardi Gras while giving back in a meaningful way.
